Fun In The Snow!

Following a promise from Miss McKeogh since before Christmas, the day the snow fell in January, 5th and 6th went out that afternoon for lots of fun in the snow. There were snow-angels and snow men made but most of all, there were LOTS of snowballs made and thrown! For the final few minutes, Miss McKeogh joined in on the snowball fight only to be ambushed by all the class!!! We were frozen but it was worth it!!!

Tag Rugby

Tag rugby has commenced again in KBNS. 3rd-6th Class have been training during and after school. There is so much talent in our boys!

Online Novel Reading

5th and 6th Class are currently reading a novel on Kindle via the Interactive White Board. We are absolutely engrossed in ‘Shadow’ by Michael Morpurgo. watch this space for our reviews!

The Importance of Problem Solving and Group Work

Group Work and Problem Solving are both necessary life skills. In 5th and 6th Class, we experience both on a daily basis in many areas of the curriculum.

Mindfulness

5th and 6th Class have recently started practicing Mindfulness/Meditation. We absolutely love taking this time to ourselves in the busy world we live in. We are currently able to have at least a ten minute session uninterrupted. Very impressive!

The boys of 3rd & 4th class had lots of fun giving a ‘helping hand’ to Juniors for the whole school ART project, “The Friendship Tree”
