The Infants are off to a ‘flying’ start this new Term with their Space theme for Aistear! Have a look at our spaceship-no doubt many adventures will take place over the next couple of weeks! Watch this space…(excuse the pun!)

The theme this fortnight for Juniors & Seniors is transport and the boys are busy exploring cars and trains, chatting about road safety, building bridges and tunnels, investigating the forces that make things move…all while playing and having fun!!!

The boys in Juniors and Seniors have been putting on their scientist’s hats recently and have been investigating things that are living and non-living…
4th, 5th and 6th Class are currently preparing for the Intel Mini-Scientist Competition. There is a lot of work both in class and at home for this and we are already well underway in our investigations. Please see the below link to the web-site and click on the Project Report Book guidelines link to be sure that the Science Journals are written in the correct format. Students, please remember to include diagrams/ images/ interesting facts/summary in your posters to grab the judges’ attention. Judging will be after Hallowe’en. Best of luck to all!
Best of luck to 5th and 6th Class in their preparations for the Intel Mini-Scientist competition which will be judged after Hallowe’en. The boys are busy deciding on and carrying out their investigations at the moment. Best of luck with all the group work boys!
The boys in 5th and 6th have been having lots of fun learning how to play cricket the past 4 Fridays.Cricket: They have been lucky enough to be trained by a professional Cricket coach for the past 4 weeks. They thoroughly enjoyed it and have proven to be quite talented at this sport. We are hoping to get some equipment from our coach Chris to continue this.
