Les Miserables

The boys from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes were priviledged to attend St Annes Community Colleges production of ‘Les Miserabels’ today. The show was amzing and is a credit to the hard work and dedication of the pupils and staff of St. Annes Community College. What did ye think of the show boys???

World Book Day.

First and second class were invited to the library for world book day. After we spoke about our favourite books we got to see a brilliant puppet show and we made some Easter art.

Second class visit Clare Heritage Museum.

Second class from the boys school and second from the Convent school visited Clare Heritage Museum, where we took place in workshops on St Bridget and Spring.

Art Competition Winners.

Ms Mckeogh congratulates two first class boys for winning an art competition. We are very proud of these two boys! Well done!!!

Great Bud Race!!

First and Second class collected buds from a number of trees. Some of the trees were from around the school and some the boys brought in themselves. With the help of Mr Corcoran, all the branches were labelled and we are waiting to see which branch will bud first. Let the race begin…..

An Post/INTO handwriting competition.

First and second class wrote stories about the life of a post person and entered the handwriting competition.

      The House is shut and still,

Through broken walls and gray

      To speak them good or ill:

And our poor fancy-play
