5th and 6th Class have been shown a new website by Miss McKeogh called ‘Note Flight’. 5th and 6th Class found this website to be quite interesting, exciting and educational. 3rd and 4th class have been learning the Raitlin Bog in Music this week. The boys are also learning this on Tin Whistle. The tin whistle notes and words are attached so that the boys can practice at home. I have also included the words and notes to Spancil Hill which we worked on a few weeks ago.. Have fun boys!!!
The boys in 3rd and 4th class have been working on Electricity as part of their Science curriculum. They made their own circuit box which is used as a challenge to other pupils. The box was made using 8 butterfly clips which are all connected accordingly as per the question sheet. They also created a circuit using wires, a bulb and a battery. When the sheet is placed on the top of the box the boys have to match the correct answers using the clips. Each boy devised a set of questions so the box could be re used once the wires at the back of the box are connected accordingly.

Following a promise from Miss McKeogh since before Christmas, the day the snow fell in January, 5th and 6th went out that afternoon for lots of fun in the snow. There were snow-angels and snow men made but most of all, there were LOTS of snowballs made and thrown! For the final few minutes, Miss McKeogh joined in on the snowball fight only to be ambushed by all the class!!! We were frozen but it was worth it!!!
Tag rugby has commenced again in KBNS. 3rd-6th Class have been training during and after school. There is so much talent in our boys!
