Flower and Plant Projects from 3rd and 4th
The boys in 3rd and 4th have spent the last week collecting and looking at various plants from the locality. Thank you to the many boys who brought in flowers and plants for the rrest of the class to study. Next week we hope to go on a nature trail as part of Active Week. The boys will have to put into practice their learning from the last few weeks to complete the trail. All boys were given a plant to reserach and present a project about it. The projects show some great work by the boys. I also have a few more projects on paper at school that I will upload next week. Well done to you all.
Here are their projects just click on them to read each one.

Hurling Blitz
3rd and 4th class went to Broadford to a hurling blitz organised by Peter Casey. We had yet another great day which saw our boys developing their skills with boys and girls from other schools in the area. The boys had a fantastic day and all of them have imporoved so much in developing their skills.
Bottle Top Art
The 3rd and 4th class have been collecting bottle tops for the last few months and finally the day came when we had enough. We decided that we would make two butterflies to fly high above us in the classroom. We started by drawing two large butterflies onto strong cardboard. The boys were divided into two groups and were given their butterfly. Each group arranged the tops and were given glue to stick them down. Look how well they turned out.
